A portal to a wide variety of federal government information for seniors. The homepage has frequently-updated news about health issues, legislation affecting seniors, issues related to Medicare and Social Security, etc. Sub-pages have links that lead to just about anything related to seniors that the federal government does.
Full Circle of Care Caregiver Website
A wonderful site, packed with information for caregivers. Designed specifically for caregivers, this site has been adopted by the NC Division of Aging, the NC Association of Area Agencies and the NC Association of Councils of Governments as the statewide caregiver resource.

Wake County Human Services Information on Adult Care Homes
Detailed information about Adult Care Homes (includes assisted living, rest homes, and family care homes), and Nursing Homes including their record of complaints and corrective actions.
